Puddletown First Aiders

The children had a fantastic day and were really 'buzzing' about the it. It was a wonderful opportunity for our KS2 children to have a day of First Aid training. Having a basic understanding of First Aid is something that all children should have, out of all the lessons the children can do at school this is one of the few that could literally save a life. As a school we are so grateful to the Adams family for the passion in providing us not only with our defibrillator but also for training our 60 mini medics!

Our thanks also go to Whitehorse and Encompass Training who led the day so brilliantly.

Forest School Training

Forest School training with Whitehorse has been the best course to date that I have been on.  The location and staff are 5 star.  I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in doing a Forest School.

Forest school Level 3 course

I thoroughly enjoyed Forest School Leader Training with Whitehorse and the skills that I have learnt have been invaluable in my work. Rob and the Team are knowledgeable, friendly and motivational. Having completed the course, I now feel fully competent as a Forest School Leader. I feel confidently able to risk assess, plan, implement and reflect upon sessions. I would certainly recommend Whitehorse to anyone considering Forest School training.

Whitehorse teaching some young sailors at the Weymouth sailing club

With the summer holidays in full swing the YOBs having been spending their spare time hanging around Weymouth Sailing Club causing drama in boats with first aid scenarios.  With the kids and the volunteers Rob From Whitehorse training gave up his time to support the local cause and run a first aid course in the evenings. Rob tailored the course to suit the youngsters and showed them how to deal with any possible situations they may face on the water and in a small confined space of a boat.  A big eye opener for most as this was their first experience of any first aid training.  A big thanks to Whitehorse training and well done to all those that took part!
